Because it's machined and not stamped, it has a much higher tolerance to vibration failure like you've seen with some others out there. In addition, it simply mounts to the existing hardware on you bike making it easy to install and remove. Because it matches the contour of your stock WR 250 thru 450 or XR 250R 400R rear fender, the plate also stays out of the way of your leg when mounting, dismounting, or struggling up some difficult terrain. It also is strong enough to survive the occasional "loop out" that normally rips most other plate holders from their attachment point. Of course it's not indestructible but it's probably the best setup you'll find to date. Mounts to the existing 3 bolts that hold your taillight on. |
